Hello, In this story according to Martinez graffiti artist are excluded or considered as an “othered” by the society because of how most people look at them as just a member of gang who bring more attention to the community where the subculture surrounding graffiti has existed for several decades and it’s still going strong. The graffiti artist who are passionate, skilled and community oriented. But sometimes the way society look at them is different from everyone that they portrayed as common criminals and vandals that just wanted an attention but the truth is spraying on a wall or other surface in a public place is their way of expressing their feelings and maybe not everyone will look at it as an art but I do believe that this is not just vandalism but it is also a form of art.
